The company, which has more than 18 years of experience in the custody monitoring field, has been identified by analyst firm Berg Insight as the third largest company in the world in the prisoner monitoring sector. Spacecom has monitored more than 600,000 people and has around 100,000 active devices across all Brazilian states.

Spacecom’s SAC24 solution includes an emergency application, a monitoring application, a network system, and a range of Bluetooth and cellular tag devices worn by inmates. The system processes 24/7 monitoring data with potentially very high data loads. It is used to help ensure that offenders comply with restriction requirements and to assist authorities in monitoring compliance.
