Position summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, maintaining ongoing customer relationships, and supporting the field sales team in driving revenue for Acceleronix’s IoT connectivity and cloud services. This individual will play a key role in outbound prospecting, nurturing inbound leads, coordinating with marketing and sales teams, and managing the CRM system. The successful candidate will be an energetic, motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Job description:

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up with leads generated via marketing programs.
  • Maintain a high level of daily activity, including, outbound calls and emails, to build a consistent sales pipeline.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Progressing low contract value customers (small businesses) from lead to contract
  • Meets and exceed Sales targets, targets are the sum of Regional Sales Managers Acceleronix assigned to the SDR
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and position Acceleronix’s IoT solutions accordingly.
  • Set appointments and support handoff to field sales representatives as opportunities mature.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and provide feedback from prospects to improve targeting and messaging.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of inside sales, business development, or customer service experience, preferably in the IoT, SaaS, or tech industry.
  • Strong phone presence and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and lead qualification processes.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and exceed targets.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
