We are looking for a talented individual to join our LATAM team to be responsible for all activities in Mexico and Central America related to our Acceleronix IoT connectivity and platforms/solutions offering.
This key role will lead the implementation of this new offering with a responsibility for growth and implementation of strategies and new partners. This role will work closely with the Head of Acceleronix Sales LATAM as well as with other sales teams in the region.
To be successful, the ideal candidate will have an IoT background from a Mobile Network Operator (MNO), MVNO or similar. A great understanding of the complex world of IoT related services, Platforms, SIM technology, and related technologies solutions. He/She will be responsible for winning accounts across Mexico and Central America, working both independently and together, with our Regional Sales Team in the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Identifying and acquiring new IoT Connectivity and Platforms/Solutions sales.
• Developing a good understanding of the customer needs, solutions, and vertical market
• Exceed quarterly and annual targets. Through forecast and financial planning
• Develop pipeline through prospecting, cross selling with other sales teams and industry events
• Aligning with the Country / Regional Sales Leadership
• Own and manage customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle, as well as working with the Bid and Commercial team on formal customer responses
• Utilization of CRM tool to manage customer contacts, pipeline and opportunities
Experience
• In-depth understanding of the IoT landscape, platforms, competitors, and overall value chain
• Proven track record of achieving “business development” sales targets, working in an “overlay” role
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in Spanish and English
• The role requires frequent travel, approximately 50% of the time, both within Mexico and internationally, including multi-week business trips as needed.
• Ability to develop joint strategic sales plans for increased revenue and market share
• Ability to translate customer requirements into strategic proposals
